And with this, we went to Universal Studios! on a horrid rainy day. but its ok cause i still had loads of fun with sfb!! (:
so taking my colleague's advice.. we headed left first and made one complete round! first up...
Madagascar! - which was not open yet. Still took a picture though. and we felt the kids merry go round was really too lame to waste our time...
think it will only be ready next year. oh wells.. next up.. we headed for Far Far Away! Shrek land!!! (:
so nice la the castle! (: made me feel like some disney princess even though we were not in disneyland. yuan lai universal studios is the new disneyland.
i had to take a photo with the usher she was so cute!!! look behind us.. NO QUEUE pls. haha. cuz it was a lame kiddy dragon roller-coaster ride... but still quite fun not bad.
... everything was built and handled v professionally though.. was impressed.. just like the LA one.. go in, queue, put bags on one side, then get in, get off n exit one side.. very fast n efficient. (:
so then we headed inside the castle for some Shrek 4D show..
first we were all trapped in a room with video projection... and we were all STANDING. damn off i must say. the room was too damn noisy to hear anything the video was trying to say... but guessing from the visuals, it was about Lord Farquars dungeon n how Fiona was being kidnapped... haha..
funky green 4D glasses! haha. and we sat all the way in front!!! shiok view. the show was amazing but the seats could have moved a little more i guess... a little too child-friendly... but 4D really is IN YOUR FACE... haha. i swear it felt like i could have reached out to touch the characters. -_-"
so afterwards we continued to walk around Far Far Away... but we decided not to watch the Donkey comedy show.. figured we should go take more rides first...
the gingermanbread looked scary. but puss in boots so cute! wanted to buy for yaoyao but sfb said she had too many toys! ):
next up.. we headed for Jurrasic Park!!!
queued forever for this damn lame ride... plus we couldn't sit facing the front view.. SO ANGRY!
couldn't take photos of the rapids ride inside cuz we had to put our baggage in the lockers.. but it was exciting! and i must say the locker system very high tech and efficient too!
but this ride was good! of course we all got wet... SFB got soaked! haha cuz he was in the lucky seat.. the last part of this ride was awesome! not gonna spoil it for those who haven't been yet!
next up.. we headed for THE MUMMY RETURNS!
silly boy liked the ride so much he insisted on us taking it the 2nd time.. so we did... (: it was good.. same as the LA one.. but a bit longer.. so more fun!
i had to buy the huge ass bottle of orange squash as we continued to walk on to sci-fi land..
with all the scary stuff going on with the battlestar galactica ride... even when its finally operating i doubt i'll wanna sit it anymore... but the sci-fi city was kinda cool with all the lights n stuff.. made the place look like star trek! - according to sfb (:
we skipped the kowabunga show.. no idea what that is... but i wanted to catch the steven spielberg's lights, camera, action film show so we headed on to NewYork NewYork!
we took pictures with all the mini set-ups of NYC (: pretty cool.
the girl hosting this show was one of the better ones in the park already... (: it was not bad.. but the damn Kiasu Singaporeans refused to squeeze in so i was blocked half the time. damn sian.

after this we headed for the Hollywood section... which was going to be closed early thanks to the damn YOG private event held there. so angry! sfb wanted to bring me for a nice dinner there for my birthday but we couldn't dine there! ): plus due to the rain, all the celebrity mascots didn't make any appearance. gosh... how suey... so we landed up taking photos with cars & signs. -_-"
we managed to catch the Monster Rock Show at the Pantages Theatre... SUCKED HORRIBLY PLEASE. if USS doesn't change this performance soon, no one is coming anymore... seriously.. it was just a whole bunch of "monsters" doing spoofed performances to pop songs.. and the singing and dancing cannot make it. gosh. what a let down.
Anyways.. we rushed to catch the AMAZING WATER STUNTS SHOW @ WaterWorld! (: This was fantastic and fun! A must watch!
funny part was the beginning when they were walking around with enormous shot guns shooting water at the audience. (: so cool! sfb wants one of those.
anyways.. since we couldn't dine in the park.. we went on to shop at the souvenir shop!
sfb got a HUGE ASS MUG! (: good, means i never have to help refill water for him as often..
i got myself a nice i heart uss shirt... and the bettyboob badge caught my eye i had to get it for CT! (:
